Ivette Jones, MSN, RN, CPNP-AC/PC

Ivette Jones is originally from Mexico and grew up in El Paso, TX. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) with 17 years of experience in the field of nursing. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2001 and her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2010 both from the University of Texas at El Paso. In 2012, Ivette and her family relocated to San Antonio, TX due to a great career opportunity for her husband.

Ivette has been a CPNP for 8 years and is passionate about providing the upmost quality care to patients. Her previous experience is in nephrology and oncology with UT Health San Antonio.

Throughout her career, Ivette has been heavily involved in with the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) both locally and nationally. Locally, she has served on the board as legislative chair, president-elect, president, past-president, and now communications chair. On the national level, she is part of the conference planning committee as well as the diversity & inclusion task force.

Outside of her career, Ivette’s favorite thing to do is to spend time with her husband and 3 kids. They are proud parents to a 21-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter in college as well as a 6-year-old daughter in elementary school. Personally, Ivette enjoys high intensity interval training and makes a conscious effort to be spiritually, mentally and physically healthy.
